Assessment Right On The Mark......

Matt Gurney: I'd leave Toronto in a heartbeat, if only the TTC was running...

I was born in Toronto. I spent the early years of my life there before my family's business interests took us north into the 905. I've also lived in cottage country for much of my life. In other words, I'm something of a rarity in our increasingly urban country — I've done it all: big cities, sprawling suburbs, and dusty country roads. Each have their benefits and drawbacks, but when the time came recently for my fiancee and I to buy our first home together, the very first thing that we agreed on was to not even consider living in the 416, which we both deemed a black hole of frustration and bureaucratic incompetence unworthy of our municipal tax dollars (which they'd just blow on nonsense, anyway).

Our choice is looking wiser every day.

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
