Let's look at...
* salaries and benefits of public "servants" at all three levels of public "service" that add to our debt but doesn't bring in $1 in revenue to the private sector coffers from which they pay taxes.
* the reality of UNIFOR that was precipitated by a drop in membership resulting in a drop in mandatory dues which put in jeopardy the salaries of union "leaders" and their support staff.
* the fact that most of the "cheap labour" $$$ paid to foreign workers goes back home while we continue to subsidize labour that could be filling these seasonal jobs.
