Global Warming - End Of The World Or Hoax

The Holy Grail for most scientists is not truth but research grants. And the global warming scare has produced a huge downpour of money for research. Any mystery why so many scientists claim some belief in global warming?

I believe Mr. Ray is on to something and it extends well beyond Global Warming which IMHO is the Baskin Robbins flavour of the day.It is right up there with World Hunger, Aids, Farm Aid, Cancer, etc., etc., etc.

No one is denying that these problems do exist and we should be supporting and trying to solve the problems but I firmly believe that there are individuals/groups which have turned most them into cottage industries to benefit themselves either financially or as ego boosters.

Billions are raised every year but children are still starving and dying at an alarming rate, Aids seems to be on the increase, family farms are still going bankrupt, we see some successes in fighting cancer but no major breakthroughs have happened.

Call me cynical but any successes in dealing with these problems seem to be accomplished by dedicated individuals who put food into a child's mouth a spoonful at a time, provide a bed for a night for a homeless person, sit by the bedside of personal with terminal cancer or aids, etc.
