The morning gabfest has been dubbed by Jon Stewart “a daily show about the misadventures of the world’s unluckiest couch.” Its anchors are women and it draws a largely female audience.
But “women’s programs” are deemed too light and fluffy to be a suitable venue for the President of the United States. Prime-time and late night chat shows — they’re OK, they’re serious and virile. Read More
