Many Of Us Feel That Also BUT....

....but the alternatives aren't the answer.

PM's chances fade

Drip, drip, drip. With every passing day Prime Minister Stephen Harper's prospects look a little bleaker. If you live in a Tory-held riding and pay attention to politics you know Conservatives of long standing who are unhappy. Mainly their concern is this: The man is not a conservative any more.

The Skinny said...

I think it's beginning to dawn on a few conservatives (many can't get it) that the majority of Canadians, are not truly right wing, certainly not hard right, and a party with such policies will never govern in a majority.

Stephen Harper has realized this, all to painfully, and whenever he tries to placate these lunatics, that's when you see his support plummet.

Mulroney figured it out, early enough to be in majority. Unfortunately for Harper, his own ego, his hard right roots, and his allegiance to these mindless lunatics is his downfall.

Iggy, clearly sees the opportunity, so watch for his, riding the wire and capturing the powerful 'swing centrists'. Layton will smell the opportunity to snag the far left that Iggy alienates and will help Iggy bring down Harper down the road. But what I'm saying is rather rhetorical at this point.

Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
