Police officers dodge bullets in North York Sun May. 17 2009 3:16:08 PM
A suspect has been arrested and a handgun seized after police officers were shot at in a troubled North York neighbourhood.
Officers were called to an address on Driftwood Avenue, in the city's Jane Street and Finch Avenue area, just after midnight Sunday after a shot was fired into a townhouse.
Police say it looks like the shot was fired from a highrise building on Driftwood.
When investigators arrived at the scene, several more shots were fired at the officer who had gathered outside the townhouse.
No one was injured in the shooting but police say they arrested a male suspect at the scene.
