Holy 0.9% APR financing, Batman! The Dark Knight has traded in his Batmobile as part of the government's "cash for clunkers" program.

Equipped with such gadgets as the Bat rocket launcher, the Bat laser and the emergency Bat turn lever, the vehicle got an estimated one-half mile per gallon in highway driving and negative mileage in the city.

Billionaire Bruce Wayne said he decided to sell the car after losing his entire fortune in an investment scheme run by Bernie Madoff.

The Caped Crusader will now drive a Ford Fiesta. Robin was laid off and replaced with an immigrant from Honduras.
