You and I have talked here in the past about excess packaging.
But we never got too specific.
Oh my....
I bought a new shirt last week...
I lost count of the number of pins that had to be pulled out. I know I stabbed myself three times.
In addition to the regular pins, there were two or three sorta paper clip thingies on the sleeves.
There was a plastic tab at the front of the collar and a cardboard stiffener inside it. A decorative piece of cardboard was somehow fastened to the outside. A piece of cardboard was inside the shirt and a wad of tissue paper in the neck. There were tags dangling from two buttons. And, of course, the whole thing was wrapped and sealed in cellophane.
I mean, this is a shirt! Not the dead sea scrolls!
Of course, with all these absurd accoutrements, I couldn’t ...
