Posted 8/26/2009 12:00:00 PM Leave it to "The Onion" to make it easy for anyone to write anything negative about the late Ted Kennedy, liberal "lion" of the U.S. Senate.The on-line satirical newspaper headline this afternoon reads:
"Kennedy curse claims life of 77-year old tumour-riddled binge drinker".
Ouch.
That's a real counterpunch to the 13 minute hagiography that led NBC Nightly News tonight. Fans of big government and the dummies who've followed the Kennedy family saga with all its Camelot nonsense and revisionism got their fill of Saint Teddy today. Of course the infotainment shows were there with the stories of the Kennedy wives and the Kennedy "curse".
You've heard of the Kennedy "curse". Every time a family member died or faced rape or murder charges, the "curse" was pulled out of the shadows and that explained everything.
