Bumping into Mike Ignatieff seems to be a common occurrence at the Vancouver Olympics while he has also been live blogging his escapades to several different venues. Here I was under the impression that it was vitally important for MPs to be back in Ottawa and that he was leading his Liberal Party in a Shadow Parliament to continue the important work of the legislature? What is he doing runni...
The Iceman | So, Where's Iggy??
It appears that the Liberal leader is in Vancouver enjoying the Olympics. Shouldn't he be in Ottawa holding fake meetings with Liberal supporters disguised as experts?Like the CEO of TD Canada Trust? Maybe if us little peons started emailing the bank and withdrawing our meager little savings we might have an impact. We transferred our mortgage a few years ago to a Credit Union and we couldn't...
Climbing out of the dark |- Michael Ignatieff produces an agenda.

Canadians think he's the best person to be prime minister; the most competent leader; the most trustworthy leader; the leader with the best vision for the country ... you name it. His leadership score is 30 points ahead of the next guy, who happens to be Jack Layton. Some of that may be the result of sympathy for Layton's recent health concerns, but still ... Ignatieff has had a year to excite people, and he's still struggling to match the boss of Canada's perennial third-place party. I have no idea what
I wanted to give Michael Ignatieff some credit. I really did. The Liberal leader has written an open letter to Prime Minister Harper, outlining Liberal priorities for the next session of Parliament, and outlining some ideas the party has for addressing a range of issues. I wanted to reproduce it here, but for some reason Liberal HQ has put it out in a format that appears impossible to copy. In any case, it defeats my limited tech skills. So you'll have to read it
