Left, Left, Left....Getting In Step With Strikers

What's at stake in city strike

Our members – child-care workers, paramedics, social service workers, building inspectors, garbage collectors and thousands more who keep our city safe, clean and beautiful – have been forced to embark on a strike that we had hoped to avoid.

Nothing says not working like a strike. On the other hand, the folks involved in the blame game seem well employed. Working overtime in the business of finger pointing has its benefits.

....but not everyone:

Shlemazl FOR Strikes

I am fully behind the stinking strike in Toronto. It really is very educational for us all but especially for WHO. Cholera can't be too far away, so let CUPE teach the buggers at WHO what a real pandemic is like!

Yeah, thought it was a nice touch waiting for the sweltering heat and summer holidays before they stopped collecting garbage and gave a finger to working parents. Nice work, CUPE.

And seriously... If this isn't going to teach Torontonians what kind of mayor they elected then nothing will. Bankrupt city has already awarded cool pay rises to firemen, police... and not least the councillors haven't forgotten about themselves. Fuck you, private sector!!! You are nothing! Your role is limited to footing the bill.

Still, my favourite strike is that by LCBO. The fact that Canadians can only buy vodka from the Government has got to be the single most idiotic thing about this country.

LCBO rules. Let them strike forever! Please?

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
