Transport Minister John Baird says Toronto's application was the only one among 2,700 submitted that wasn't done properly.
Toronto's only application for money under the federal government's $4 billion infrastructure stimulus fund was met with a profane dismissal by Transport Minister John Baird yesterday.
.......But the people of Toronto and the GTA shouldn't be made to suffer for the stupidity of those who elected Comrade Miller and his left wing cronies on city council. If there are technical problems in Toronto's application one of the experts in Ottawa should correct the problem, hop on a Porter Airline plane, fly into Toronto Island airport where the appropriate Toronto beauracrat could initial the changes and the federal beauracrat could be on his way back to Ottawa.
