An Answer To Hyphenation....

.....if you insist on hyphenation I would suggest, if you are a citizen, that you announce yourself as a Canadian-French, Canadian-Irish, etc. The country of your choice of birth takes precedence in all matters.

Who's a hyphenated Canadian?

Could Andy McKenna make clear exactly what a hyphenated Canadian is? Would that be a "French-Canadian" because they are from Quebec, or perhaps an Irish-Canadian (like myself, born in Ireland but a Canadian citizen), or perhaps someone whose skin is a different colour, thereby rendering them a second-class citizen?

Also I don't think the Star's extensive coverage of this shameful story is an obsession, unless it is an obsession with seeing that justice is done for all Canadians.

I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
