IMHO nothing can hurt or embrass the "class clown." except maybe losing seats to the Green Party.

Kady O’Malley has an interesting side saga to the NDP convention in Halifax today, in which NDP candidate Dana Larsen, an avid pot activist, has been banned from attending. (Demoracy In Action)The reason is based on his efforts to push through a pot-legalization resolution to the floor of the convention in the hopes it would become a policy of the NDP.
Officially, the word is that national director Brad Lavigne revoked his privileges owing to alleged offers of financial inducements to other delegates, but the blowup has been centred around the NDP distancing itself from the marijuana issue. Mr.Larsen’s pot page reads as a declaration of independence of sorts:
