How I'm Spending My Summer Vacation
Posted 8/10/2009 7:40:00 PMI'm into the second week of my "summer vacation" and I thought I'd type a few words to keep the blog somewhat active. I'll make this quick...some random thoughts and a few questions answered.
I've had a lot of emails from people wondering where the hell I've been on my regular shift from 10:0-Noon and 1:00-2:00. The short answer is it's the summer and I'm committed to filling in for John Oakley when he's off. John has a large amount of vacation availability and because of unusual ratings this year, he's had to take a huge chunk of it from May until August. That's why I've filled in on the morning show for five weeks since June. And I'll be back on John's shift next week. I return to my actual show on August 24th.
Today is my 49th birthday. I've deliberately skipped it but I've appreciated a few emails ...
