......IMHO an example of political moderation:
Thin skins at city hall
Aug. 08, 2009
Toronto City Council has correctly rejected an ill-judged proposal to have taxpayers cover the legal costs of municipal politicians who launch lawsuits against citizens. But at the same Thursday meeting, council contradicted itself ...
.....the electorate says one thing but the majority of city councilors don't listen:
Toronto city council has decided to pay Sandra Bussin’s expenses in a defamation suit against a local newspaper. Do you think this is reasonable? | |||||

hmmm.
Well the liberals were 'moderates, Harper, not so much.
So, I know what the liberals accomplished, turning the economy around, which, you know, we could use right about now.
What has Harper really, truly accomplished. Other than, mucking with an already running economy and failing to deal with the recession very well. At least until the threat of a coalition jump started them FINALLY to action and stop the partisan crap.
So what really, has Harper done of any real significance? Has he turned an economy around? Or some other significant thing?
And don't give us this 'if he stuck to his far right roots he coulda... woulda... because Canadians, the majority IS NOT RIGHT WING. Period!
So, what? What did Harper do that was soooo great....
