Racial Profiling By THE STAR Or Just Responding To The Facts

At the foot of 180 Chalkfarm sits a one-floor, city-run recreation centre. Inside, four black men, all 18 years old, have just come in from the evening cold. Stamping their feet and getting warm before heading to the basketball court, they needle each other and laugh.
When a reporter asks about their interactions with the police, their eyes turn down and postures stiffen.
