- Fresh from celebrating ourselves at the Olympics, let's get back to flagellating ourselves over imagined national failings. Like racism. First this: I don’t know about you, but I haven’t heard of widespread cross-burnings in Canada except for the ones made up in the mind of Liberals like Hedy Fry. But according to this story, not only is the recent incident of a cross-burning not surprising, it’s fairly expected in a racist hellhole like Canada:
