Wheel-Trans Unsung Heros...Bravo!

Re:Board of trade chief urges audit of TTC,
March 2
The true heroes of the TTC are the men and women who drive the Wheel-Trans vehicles, whether cab, minivan or bus. They are in and out of the vehicles in all kinds of weather, take abuse from passengers if they are late, and have to make sure the passengers are securely strapped in their seats or that their assistance device – walker, wheelchair or scooter – is secured.
They get only a 20 minute break in an eight-hour shift and heaven help them if they need a pit stop.
If the passenger is not in the lobby of the apartment building or ready for the driver, they have to wait five minutes for them to come down. These five minutes are never made up so this means they fall five minutes behind and then have to suffer the anger of the next passenger.
Bus, streetcar and subway drivers are lucky they can just stay warm and cosy in their vehicles.

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
