I Say Again Give Cyclists The Same Privileges Given To Drivers...

Mammoliti: Start charging bike licensing fees

Mayoral candidate Giorgio Mammoliti and the Toronto Cyclist Union's Yvonne Bambrick join Canoe Live's Jacqui Delaney to discuss a new bike lane pilot project set to launch in Toronto this September.

Motorist/Cyclist Equality

* take a cycling test and obtain a cycling license

* purchase annual license plates for their bikes

* pay the new city fee for licensing their bikes

*obtain insurance

*mandatory helmet and seat belts

*using sidewalks is forbidden and is an offense similar to autos

*inclusion in Ride spot checks

Hepburn: Bike lanes on University Ave. make no sense
