15 Minutes In The Media Spotlight-Blessing Or Curse

I think in the case of Sam George he sees it as a blessing that has elevated him to a community leader but in the case of Laureen Small I will have to wait and see. I have this gut feeling that she and her cadre of supporters are more street savvy than we give them credit for.........

Oh, you know it's going to happen. Maybe even tonight. It sure as hell didn't stop happening after Breanna Davy, after Chantel Dunn, after Louise Russo or Jane Creba -- all victims of gun crimes. It's just the way things are here. Deal with it.

Wants 44 hectares of Ipperwash given to natives

The brother of slain native protester Dudley George is asking the Ontario government to return the 44-hectare Ipperwash Provincial Park to the First Nations community as a gesture of good faith before a national aboriginal day of protest over land claims.
