I Have Never Watched American Idol Or Canadian Idol

And so I am not in a position to make judgement calls but if that douche bag Rosie knocks it then it must have some redeeming qualities.

A Rosie by any other name..
“Isn’t that what America thinks is entertainment? To make fun of someone’s physical appearance and then when they leave the room laugh hysterically at them? Three millionaires, one probably intoxicated….”

Rosie on The View this morning.
I admit I like American Idol, but it is getting to the point where it's no longer about talent, it's about seeing how mean the judges can be. As the old saying goes, familiarity breeds contempt. The longer the show runs, the more the judges have to up the ante on their performances, and especially in Simon's case, their 'mean' act.
Last night, Simon said to one contestant, “You look a little odd. The dancing is terrible. The singing was horrendous and you look like one of those creatures that live in the jungle with those massive eyes. What do they call them? Bush babies.” Paula took him to task for it, but after he left the room, she joined in laughing at him. That's what prompted Rosie's comment, and she's absolutely right. This is what people now call entertainment.
If everything is cyclical as they say, it can't be long before we start skipping the whole contestant bashing on Idol, and move right into feeding them straight to lions in the coliseum.

I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
