I would ask Mr. Bedford if he can explain with liberals (leftists) in power for most of the last three decades why the TTC is in such bad shape, why street crime has become a joke and our infra-structure is in such bad shape.
What's so scary about the right?

Tony Gizzie seems to believe that most people don't know the difference between moderate conservatives, like former Ontario premier Bill Davis, and neo-conservatives, like Tony (two-tier) Clement, who masquerade as moderates. Gizzie asks how anyone can be against lower taxes. No one is. What they are against is lower taxes for the affluent that could be better spent on health care and education.
Gizzie also drags out the same old right-wing nonsense about how ordinary citizens can spend their own money better than politicians on such things as the TTC, the police and a crumbling infrastructure. But he doesn't tell us how.
What's so scary about the right? Well, seeing that it was opposed to all social programs, from pensions to humane working conditions, and even to the Maple Leaf flag and to having a Canadian as governor general, I think there's plenty to be scared about when it comes to the far-out right, especially the ones in moderate clothing.
