- Tory ads strike out at Ignatieff's absence from Canada
The Conservative Party of Canada released its first attack ads against Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff on Tuesday, focussing on his three-decade absence from Canada and an assertion the Grits have "no credible economic plan."
- Nicholls: Tory TV spot misses the mark
First off, it's probably the first attack ad I've ever seen which attacks the other guy for using attack ads! Talk about hypocrisy.
From Ignatieff's first scrum;
Question: So you take [Ruby Dhalla] at her word but not the nannies? You can’t have both.
Michael Ignatieff: Merci
Heh.

Of -course- you do...
Now if the liberals started putting out ads highlighting Harper's past, you know, stuff like firewals around Alberta, and some other lunatic right wing stuff he was into, you'd be screaming holy heaven wouldn't ya.
I'm extremely concerned about the two of these ads that seem to impugn Ignatieff's citizenship.
That's an extremely irresponsible act. I don't think I could find enough words to explain how much so.
A couple of comments.....
1)Is anything in the "ads" untrue?
2) Many of the MSM stories/columns ask similar questions.
