Shots scatter Yonge shoppers
No one hurt and no arrests as bullets fly
The Yonge St. rush-hour crowd ducked for cover last night as a gunman opened fire at a group of men just blocks from where Jane Creba was gunned down last year.
.....and while I know this is just part of the fabric of big city life and I personally don't feel threatened I would like to know just what is happening with all those who were arrested last year during high profile raids....how many have actually been charged, how many have actually come to trial, how many have been sent to jail, how many are out on the street on bail, etc. etc.
It is obvious from the following article that the law is some kind of joke to the criminals:
Facing 15 charges Alleged taxi robbers
A 20-year-old accused in a recent taxi robbery spree formed his fingers in the shape of a pistol as he was led out of a Scarborough court prisoner's box yesterday.
