Does Anyone Else See The Irony

A hint of spring weather and the leeches in the social in-activist movement seem to come out from under their rocks.....as usual these few hijack the demonstration and the reason they march is lost.

Montreal anti-violence demonstration turns ugly

MONTREAL -- More than a dozen people have been arrested after a demonstration against police brutality turned ugly.

Montreal police riot squad officers are swooping on demonstrators after they got off a subway in the city's east end and targeted a McDonald's restaurant. After that, other businesses were hit.

Several trash fires have been set and one police van has been damaged.

Sgt. Ian Lafreniere of the Montreal police says about a dozen people have been arrested by police.

The demonstration started in the west end of the city where debris was strewn across a road before the roughly 500 protesters headed east.
