When adults make statements like:
“Ordinary people don't get suspended from their livelihoods and their occupations by fiat when somebody else decides they've said something wrong,” said Clayton Ruby, a Toronto lawyer and civil liberties advocate. “I don't think kids should be subject to any greater penalty than any other citizen.”
Hands up anyone who has been or knows someone who has been disciplined/terminated because their behaviour is contrary to what is acceptable in the workplace. How many people have lost their jobs, or at least been disciplined and ordered to attend diversity training, because they made an inappropriate comment about someone in the designated groups?
Are teens crossing the line with online insults?
