Is Anyone Really Surprised

It is very easy to be against something when that something belongs to the other guy. Wealth distribution is great when the other guy has the wealth, in favour of indian land claims is a good idea except when it comes to you giving up your land, supporting public transit is easy when you don't drive and the list goes on and on.

Wealthy, educated Canadians are worried about global warming but not enough to give up some of life's luxuries, says a new survey.

The Angus Reid survey shows a majority of Canadians are still unwilling to switch to fuel-efficient vehicles or to lower their thermostats at home.

Spending less time in the shower or cutting down on air travel were also things that those polled did not want to give up.

The poll says wealthier and well-educated Canadians often have the most to give up.

It also says that people from Quebec are the most concerned about the environment and are the most willing to do something about it.

Albertans were cited for being the least green conscious.
