Let's Not Lose Sight Of The Real Issue

Whether you can challenge authority without facing possible consequences? The student claims freedom of expression, the teacher claims cyber bullying and it is obvious the student doesn't have a clue about the real world. Take this scenario out of the education system and put it into the real world. How long would the student keep his job if he took similar action against his employer? But the fact that the "protest" turned violent cannot be laid at the doorstep of the students. They were only doing what they have learned from "adult" social in-activists. As soon as the weather turns nice we march.......

Four teens were arrested outside Birchmount Collegiate yesterday as a protest for a suspended student got out of hand.

Toronto Police Supt. Bob Qualtrough said a small group of students were protesting the suspension of one of the students earlier this week, when someone inside the school pulled a fire alarm around 10 a.m. emptying the building and swelling the ranks of the protesters, who flooded on to Danforth Ave. blocking traffic
