Let's put things in prespective.

This was one deranged individual. Society as a whole is not to blame.

Let's not blame:

* the internet
* video games
* television/movies
* rock/hip hop music and stars.

Gun registries did not and would not have prevented this tradegy.

Putting more security into our schools would not have prevented this tradegy.

Unless we want to make lobotomies a part of the birth process we have to accept that there will be people who will commit horrific acts and we need to deal with the individual and unforetunately it will usually be after the act.
