Every time they go after a cross, a ten commandments display, or a nativity scene and win they can have their attorney's fees paid for. A provision in a 1976 law that had the good intentions of helping individuals that could not afford to defend themselves in civil liberty issues has been turned on its head by groups like the ACLU. Now the ACLU uses this provision to threaten small schools and local governments into bowing to their demands."
