Premier Dalton McGuinty, Finance Minister Greg Sorbara and Progressive Conservative Leader John Tory all agree on one thing. The minimum wage should not be raised from $7.75 to $10. The three — along with dozens of other Liberal and Conservative MPPs — oppose today's proposal by NDP MPP Cheri DiNovo to raise the minimum wage from $7.75 an hour to $10.The Parkdale-High Park New Democrat's private member's bill to hike the hourly wage will be debated on second reading in Legislature this morning, but it has little chance of being made law.
