IT'S NOT Y2K BUT...

Starting March 11, 2007, Daylight Saving Time will kick in, three weeks earlier than in the past. Most computers are hard-wired to change to DST on the first Sunday in April, not three weeks earlier.

As Canada has opted in to follow the US in this time change, there could be problems with those computers that do not make the time change. Files that move within the same time zones could bear different times and dates resulting in confusion. Note that Mexico will not be in synch with the new 2007 DST rules.

Microsoft has a fix for all this. Visit their website for all the details and instructions on adapting to the new time rules.

This time of the year has also become traditional for changing your batteries in smoke alarms as well. So, keep your current - current.

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
