
.....but as pointed out in the letter to the GG; "Many will say that, in such conflicted circumstances as these, you should call an election. However, the Canadian public seems to have little appetite for that. And there is no serious likelihood that the outcome will be substantially different. Indeed, it might lead to an even more divided House of Commons." but the bottom line is that even with all the pitfalls the DECISION WOULD BE LEFT UP TO THE ELECTORATE.
