First like always, I want to thank you for your valuable input into the discussion. As always you try to go after the messenger, and always you fail, rather than comment on the message.....homegrown terrorists destroying public property. Second I did not edit anything but I failed, and I apologize to Kate, to post the tag line Posted by Kate.
With regard to the heading "How A Sovereign Nation Treats Public Property." The whole point is missed. The point being; these houses are NOT public property. Plain, simple. They are property belonging to the people of Six Nations of the Grand River Territory.
I believe if you do a little research you will find that the provincial government bought the property from the developers therefore the land and any encumbrances are crown property until the matter is adjudicated.
I live in Caledonia and this photo is definitely NOT edited. Thank you for showing something of the mess we must look at everyday thanks to those who claim to have such respect for the land.
the houses arent public property. they were privately owned but on six nations land. they couldnt maintain all the houses so they let some go, and kept some in shape. big deal. get over it.

The picture says it all - a house does not fall apart in one year like that from not being maintained. This is deliberate destruction plain and simple. To say otherwise is totally unexceptable. Six Nations cliams they need housing - if this is how they respect freebies then there is a problem.
