Lemon: Tell David Miller What You Think . .

David Miller: “We heard from the realtors,” he said. “Now we’re going to hear from real Torontonians.” - David - Realtors aren't real Torontonians? Today the Ceeb even beat him up - they had tape of him saying that the city can't have another vote on the new taxes back in July. Today they have him on tape saying he never said that.
I encourage everyone to visit Fair Taxes.ca and voice their opinion of David Miller's performance. Even Realtors are invited...

My response:

I support the new taxes in the same way I support bailing out my son-in-law who is a complete idiot when it comes to financial matters.

How many of your were on council when Mayor Mel pushed no property tax increases?

How many of you sat on council and failed to implement the components of amalgamation? How many of you voted to maintain your old feifdoms and keep properties that are underutilized.

How long did it take you to harmonize services?

How many fewer paychecks are being handed out at city hall?

How many non-union business people, who are property owners and taxpayers, have been allowed to bid on city business?

How many of you voted to increase your paychecks?

How do you spend your office budgets?

What sacrifices are city employees and you making that put $$$ back into the kitty.

And it goes on and on and on.

We recognize you are in trouble financially but much of it is of your own making and like my son-in-law I am getting a little tired of you showing up every weekend for a free meal.
