Povert, Racism, Etc. Are Cottage Industries For Social IN-ACTIVISTS

Fighting for low-income groups, at $33 an hour

Ever wonder what's wrong with the poverty industry, and why caseloads keep growing even as spending on social services expands relentlessly? How could it be that Canada could spend billions every year, ovber several decades, fighting for the disadvantaged, but the numbers never seem to decline?

Here's a simple answer from, of all places, a Toronto Star article describing a meeting organized by "social activists" to discuss the Ontario government's low-income policies:
