And no matter how much proof you present they will vote for left wing con men like McGinty.
Dalton fibs again |
Today, I shall prove a Dalton McGuinty election promise is not worth the paper it's printed on. Even when McGuinty writes the paper.
Among the 71 new promises he made yesterday -- down from 231 in 2003 -- Premier McGuinty promised to "hire 9,000 more nurses" and "meet our goal to have 70% of nurses working full-time."
Presumably, these are in addition to the 8,000 new nurses McGuinty promised to hire in 2003 in what was then election promise #133. It read: "We will hire 8,000 new nurses" and "our goal is to have 70% of registered nurses working full-time."
So, clearly, McGuinty hasn't reached his 2003 "goal" of having 70% of registered nurses working full-time, since he's promised it again.
But did he succeed in hiring 8,000 more nurses? Depends on which McGuinty you believe.
Go to McGuinty's website, dalton.ca. (If you don't have a computer, I'll quote all the relevant stuff here.)
