TORONTO — A Toronto concert featuring Bryan Adams, Josh Groban, Sarah McLachlan and Jann Arden will raise money for a hospital facility to help sick newborns and mothers who have high-risk pregnancies.
The show will take place on Feb. 28.
It's being billed as a fundraising project for Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and will benefit two new floors at the hospital that are to be ready in 2010.
Tickets for the show, to be held at the Air Canada Centre, start at $89 and can be purchased at www.onenightlive.ca or through Ticketmaster.
The show brings together four diverse performers.
Adams, of course, rose to superstardom with rock anthems like "Cuts Like a Knife'' and "Summer of '69.'' McLachlan is known for angelic vocals on hits like "Adia,'' while Groban has had international success with his unique brand of classical pop. Arden's song catalogue includes "Good Mother'' and "Insensitive.''
