The Gay Black Jew Joins Writer's Strike


Now I just scream to myself. When I started The Gay Black Jew back in 2005, my paychecks always read “00.00.” This past August, however, I noticed a suspicious change. Suddenly, my checks were for “.00,” and I sensed something fishy.

And that’s the main reason why I’m striking. My paycheck was cut in half. Not only that, all my novels, movie scripts, porn scripts, cooking talk show ideas, rambling scribbles—well, studios don’t want me to get kickbacks from any DVD or Internet content I haven’t or never will write.

If I don’t write, I make nothing. But if I write, I’ll get a check for no cents. See? Writing makes no sense. Thus, I shall just talk to myself.

After this passionate and tearful exit, I will embark on hours each day of just talking to myself. If people are around, I might feel some sort of “mental illness” stigma, but if a writer can’t write, he or she must talk to him or herself.

Gee, I hope I don’t bore myself. That would be very depressing, to realize that I’m a fucking boring pointless person.
