Convicted Sex Offender Arrested Again In North York
Do you know this man? More importantly, do your children? Randolph Gordon Bartley is a convicted pedophile who police allege sexually assaulted a nine-year-old girl in his own home. They claim the abuse happened repeatedly between a period of February 2005 and August 2006.
But cops were familiar with him long before those dates. In 1987, he was convicted of sexually assaulting a female in Belleville. He was found guilty on two counts of sexual interference in Brampton seven years after that. Now authorities have him in custody again on a range of similar charges.
But they worry other kids may have crossed his path. Bartley, who also goes by the name of "Randy" or "Gordie", was an employee of the Star Coin Laundromat at Dufferin and Glencairn Ave. And cops think he may have been in contact with other children who could be potential victims.
