Dion Is Grist For Left Wing Editorial Editors

A liberal agenda for Stéphane Dion

Dec. 4, 2006. 01:00 AM

Within minutes of Stéphane Dion capturing the Liberal party leadership on Saturday, critics within his own party and in the governing Conservative party were attacking him, claiming he is a liability in Quebec, that he was a failure as federal environment minister, that his English is weak, that he lacks charisma and is too rigid when dealing with others.

isn't that some of the very same things said about Cretien? That Cretien was hated in quebec, his english was disgraceful, amongst other things? Dion represents the new young liberal, and will appeal to a huge demographic that Harper won't have a chance with. Get ready for a blazer of an election. I predict a razor thin majority for the liberals.
