Dion faces early heat on proposed strike law
Business leaders urge Liberals to oppose passage of so-called anti-scab legislation
OTTAWA -- The first test of how pro-business new Liberal chief Stéphane Dion is will be whether he intervenes to stop a Parliamentary push to ban replacement workers during strikes at federally regulated firms, corporate leaders say.
A coalition of business interests has banded together to kill proposed legislation that they say will give unions the upper hand in future labour conflicts.
