Howard Moscoe is at it again. Fresh off his many TTC debacles and sticking his foot in his oversized mouth, he's right back in the line of fire as the new chairman of Toronto Licensing and Standards.

Appointment puts De Baeremaeker on garbage duty
His appointment to Mayor David Miller's inner circle has landed Councillor Glenn De Baeremaeker on the back of a garbage truck.

Comment: "Anyone want to bet that the first order of business from the mayor is to cancel the private hauler contract so Miller can repay his supporters....the city unions."

Enough about the fiscal gap between Ontario and the federal government: The new chair of Scarborough community council wants to know if Scarborough is suffering from a fiscal gap in Toronto.
Councillor Norm Kelly (Ward 40, Scarborough-Agincourt) says he picked up several sentiments from voters as he canvassed during the municipal election.
"The first was the feeling that Scarborough wasn't getting its fair share from the amalgamated city," Kelly said.

Comment: What do you consider is "a fair share" Norm? Is your garbage being picked up, do police respond when a crime takes place, do fires burn themselves out or does the fire department respond, are parks maintained, etc. etc.? Who do we take the $$$ from to make it fair?
