to love tourists

Much has been said and written in recent days regarding the welcoming of tourists to Toronto. One thing I would do immediately is to remove that $2 charge for a luggage cart at the airport. Plus, Pearson airport is so unwelcoming it requires the typical Canadian word, "sorry," to be uttered many times:
"Sorry there's such a long walk from the arrival gates."
"Sorry for the lack of signage."
"Sorry there's no subway to downtown."
"Sorry there isn't regular bus service."
"Have a good day, and sorry our beer, wines and spirits are so expensive."
