Kudos To Mastercard

The big question is the rinks could have been opened if Comrade Miller and his lackeys would learn the meaning of fiscal responsibility so why didn't they....they reduce services but don't seem to reduce staff, look at the ludicrous situation with closing community centers (centers were closed but staff were still being paid). Is this the start of a trend; Rothmans sponsoring Santa Claus Parade, CAW picking up the tab for the Indy races, Vaseline sponsoring Gay Pride Parade, Remington sponsoring Veteran Day Parade, etc.?

Rink stink

Re: Ice rinks to stay open (Oct. 13): While MasterCard's generous donation is certainly welcome, I would much rather see City Hall curtail its spending and hiring. Get rid of the councillors' freebies and perks and reduce the money going out to cultural grants. Three cheers to MasterCard for supporting our hockey kids and Canadian culture. Too bad the mayor does not have the same commitment.

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
