It is nice to have a list of the mayor's stooges but I am not heaping praise on those who voted and delayed the new taxes.....their "courage" is just more smoke and mirrors and they are just as hopeful as Miller's clowns that someone will bail us out and they don't have to make any decisions that might hurt them at the next election.

Mayor Kim Jong Miller .

Having said that.. Tip o' the hat to Brian Ashton, who seems to have, just in time, seen the light. Up until yesterday he was on Jong's "Executive Council", (a group of yes-people.. Miller could suggest bombing Mississauga, and they'd all sit there drooling and nodding their heads). But Ashton was the vote, in a motion to at least delay the stupidity, that stopped the Toronto council insanity, and put Kim in his place.

"If the mayor feels he needs another person on his team that he can depend on their vote without question, take my jersey,'' Ashton said after the vote.

Good for him. I was surprised when he ended up on the comittee in the first place, since he's never come across as an ass kissing lackie in the past. It's nice to see him prove his mettle and show he isn't one after all.

Another Miller Yes-man, deputy mayor Joe Pantalone said it's likely the Scarborough councillor's standing will be reviewed, since executive members "serve at the pleasure of the mayor.".

"At the pleasure of the mayor!!!!". Well... LAH DEEE FUCKIN' DAH!!!!!

I can't stand these clowns.
