We don't object to police going undercover with street gangs,biker gangs and other suspected organizations that could be a threat to safety so why should anarchists, peaceniks, etc. be given a pass.

I would suggest you, and that sorry excuse for a minister Mr. Day get an internet connection, and see the video for yourself.
Because just about everyone, including even the Sun, your favourite, has been able to see that the issue isn't so much undercover officers being used, it's that these ones tried to incite violence in an otherwise peaceful protest.
And that has some very worrisome, and disconcerting possibilities.
Let them use undercover officers. But tell them to put the damn rocks down, and let's not hear some lame BS that another protestor gave it to them. Why didn't they put the rocks down when told to????
