Alternative Sexual Orientation Is Becoming Fashionable

And possibly that is the reason we are hearing "horror" stories about dastardly homophobes........

John Turley-Ewart: Gay pride gets ugly in San Diego

Gay pride parades are all the fashion across North America where almost every major metropolis tips its hat to the gay and lesbian community by having a festival to show that gay rights are respected and that gays are welcome members of society that need not be ashamed of their sexual orientation.

Jonathan Kay: I'll do anything to prove I'm gay-positive! (yes, even that)

Here's a question: How gay-positive do Canadians have to become before we stop berating ourselves for being homophobes?

I was moved to ask the question after reading this "news" story in today's Globe & Mail, earnestly titled "Canadians still have 'a long way to go' on gay issues."
