"Right" is the operative word in the descriptive "right wing."
| right means free from error or correct in opinion or judgment; a wright is someone who makes, builds, or repairs something |
appropriate, condign, conscientious, deserved, due, equitable, ethical, fitting, fly, go, good, hold together, hold up, hold water, honest, honorable, just, justifiable, lawful, legal, legitimate, merited, moral, proper, requisite, righteous, rightful, scrupulous, stand up, stick together, suitable, true, upright, virtuous, wash
I am proud to be labelled "right wing."
Now let's look at left wing:
abandoned |
| continuing, departed, extra, forsaken, gone out, left over, marooned, over, remaining, residual, split, staying |
